Terms of Service

By accessing or using Chyra (chyra.chisu.io), a service operated by Chisu Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Chyra is a secure document sharing platform that allows users to upload, encrypt, and share documents with designated recipients through trackable, time-limited links. The service includes document encryption, view tracking, PIN protection, and applicant profile sharing.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree not to use Chyra to:

• Upload, store, or share illegal content or documents
• Engage in identity theft, fraud, or impersonation
• Share documents you do not have the legal right to distribute
• Attempt to circumvent security measures, encryption, or access controls
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

You retain full ownership of all documents and data you upload to Chyra. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, encrypt, and transmit your documents solely for the purpose of providing the sharing service. We do not access, read, or analyze the content of your documents. You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of content you upload and share.

When you create a share link, you acknowledge that:

• Recipients can view the documents and any profile information you choose to include
• View tracking data (timestamp, approximate location, duration) is collected and made available to you
• Documents are watermarked to deter unauthorized redistribution
• You are responsible for setting appropriate expiry dates, view limits, and PIN protection
• Revoking a link immediately terminates recipient access

Chyra offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Refund requests for paid plans should be directed to info@chisu.io within 14 days of purchase.

We employ AES-256-GCM encryption with per-user encryption keys to protect your documents at rest. While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and encryption key.

The Chyra service, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Chisu Technologies. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service. Your use of Chyra does not grant you any ownership rights in the service itself.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chisu Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Chyra is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

You may delete your account at any time from your settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the service. Upon account deletion, all your data (documents, share links, view history, and profile information) will be permanently purged within 24 hours.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with any changes, you should discontinue use and delete your account.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
